If you have large or small household items suitable for a new home, before you throw them away please consider donating them.
Organisations like the Abacus Furniture Project in Sevenoaks, run by West Kent, the YMCA Furniture Store in Tonbridge, and community groups such as Sevenoaks Freegle welcome good but unwanted items for reuse rather than disposal.
You can dispose of large household items with our fortnightly large item collection service.
Our collection costs are:
- 1 item - £18
- 2 items - £29 (£30 from 1 April 2019)
- 3 to 4 items - £39 (£40 from 1 April 2019)

- White goods - £18 each
- Large American-style fridge-freezers - £41 each (£42 from 1 April 2019)
Once booked, all items must be placed out at your property boundary by 7am on your collection day.
