Due to unprecedented pressure on our crews, Garden Waste collections are currently suspended and will resume from 11 January.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
Dispose of your garden waste the easy way with our fortnightly garden waste collection service.
We collect your garden waste every two weeks, usually on the same day as your rubbish is collected. We ask that your bin or sacks are left at your property boundary by 6.30am on your collection day.

You can take part in our service in two different ways:
Option 1 - Annual permit
For £47 a year, we will loan you a 240 litre garden waste wheelie bin, suitable for a typical sized garden.
If you find a larger bin difficult to move when full or have very limited space, for £32 a year we will loan you a 140 litre garden waste wheelie bin.
If you already have a permit, you can renew it online.
We are taking orders for new and additional bins, but due to the Coronavirus outbreak, there may be a slight delay in delivering your new bin to you. The clock will not start on your annual permit until your bin has been delivered.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
New customers can apply for a garden waste wheelie bin and permit.
Additional garden waste wheelie bins can be purchased for £32 plus the cost of the permit of £47.
If you no longer require your bin, complete our online form to let us know. We will contact you to arrange collection.
Surrender your garden waste wheelie bin
We will deliver your new bin or collect your surrendered bin as soon as possible, but this may take up to 28 days at busy times.
Option 2 - Garden waste collection sacks
We regret that due to the Coronavirus outbreak, most outlets selling garden waste sacks are temporarily closed. Sorry for the inconvenience.
If you don't have enough garden waste for a bin, we also offer collection sacks.
- Each sack holds up to 80 litres of garden waste.
- You can purchase bundles of 25 sacks from us or other locations for £15. Use them as you need to.
- Garden waste sacks purchased from other sources or garden waste left out in other sacks or containers will not be collected.
