We may be able to help if you’re unable to carry your rubbish and recycling bags to the boundary of your property for collection.
If no-one else can help, assisted collections are available for residents who are frail, elderly or those with disabilities who cannot lift or carry their waste sacks and recycling bags.
In such cases, bags need to be left in an agreed location close to the house by 7am on the collection day. We cannot enter homes to remove waste and recycling.
- If you're applying for wheelie bins that haven’t been delivered yet, please wait until you have received your bins, then apply
- Assisted collections are not available where the bin or sacks cannot be reached safely from a suitable vehicle stopping point (e.g. long or steep private drives or tracks). If this applies to you, you may still apply, but we may need to agree an alternative accessible collection point.
