A by-election has been called for the Halstead, Knockholt and Badgers Mount Ward of Sevenoaks District Council.
The poll is scheduled to take place on Thursday 26 March 2026
Electoral Registration, postal and proxy votes
To vote in this by-election, residents of Halstead, Knockholt and Badgers Mount Ward must be registered to vote by no later than midnight on Tuesday 10 March 2026. Applications can be made online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
The deadline to apply for a postal vote is 5pm on Wednesday 11 March 2026. Applications can be made online at www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote
If you wish to cancel or amend an existing postal vote, or cancel or amend an existing proxy vote, the deadline for doing so is 5pm on Wednesday 11 March 2026.
Postal votes will be sent out from 13 March 2026.
