This is when you give us permission to talk about your Council Tax account and/or Housing Benefits and Council Tax reduction account with someone else.
You may choose to give us permission to discuss your account details with someone else but you will never be required to do so. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 we will not discuss your account details with anyone else without your permission.

The authority will last for four years when it will be reviewed. You will need to notify us in writing if you want to cancel the Authority to Discuss before the review date. You can withdraw your permission at any time.
To apply, you will need to have copies of identification to upload for yourself and the person you are giving authority to.
Identification can be a form of photo ID with your name on it, such as a passport, driving licence or a bus pass.
If you are giving authority to an organisation, you will need a letter from them on letter headed paper, or an email with the organisation’s logo on it to upload as their evidence.
