Our ‘Making it Happen’ Community and Voluntary Awards are back in 2026, giving you the chance to nominate your local unsung heroes.
The awards will take place on 18 June 2026 at St Nicholas’ Church Sevenoaks and will see more inspirational community stalwarts and dedicated volunteers being recognised for their work.
This year’s categories are:
- Charity Project of the Year
- Community Arts or Sports Group of the Year
- Youth Group/Project of the Year
- Local Hero - Outstanding Individual Community Champion under 18
- Local Hero - Outstanding Individual Community Champion 18 and over
- Carer of the Year under 18
- Carer of the Year 18 and over
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Volunteer Group of the Year
- Older Persons’ Group/Project of the Year
- Community Safety Award
- Contribution to the Environment
- Health and Wellbeing Project of the Year
Nominations will be open from 2 February until 4pm on Friday 13 March 2026.
