We’re working with cafés across the District to encourage conversation whilst meeting new people.
The Chitter Chatter scheme invites customers to sit down in a safe environment and talk to people who they’ve never met about anything they like.
Cafés that are taking part:
- Hollybush Café, Sevenoaks
- Bridges, Edenbridge
- Nextdoor, Hextable
All you need to do is turn up and sit at one of the dedicated Chitter Chatter tables and wait for someone to join you. Anyone from any age group is welcome to come along
Please make sure you are kind to whoever you speak with and respect any boundaries they set.
If you own a café and would like to take part, email communities@sevenoaks.gov.uk for more information. All you need to do is allocate a few tables for Chitter Chatter.
