Sevenoaks District Council are working in partnership with Kent County Council’s Public Health Team to fund the delivery of the One You Lifestyle Improvement Service. The service is for Sevenoaks residents aged 18+ who are looking for some help and motivation to change their lifestyle.
Our One You advisors will work with you for up to one year to support you to make meaningful changes to your lifestyle, including:
- Eating healthily and losing weight
- Getting more exercise
- Drinking less alcohol
- Quitting smoking
- Having a better mental wellbeing
As a result of the progression of the coronavirus we have changed our service from face-to-face support to remote telephone based or video call support. We offer our time to clients free of charge.
We understand that making changes can be really difficult, particularly if you are struggling with lifestyle stress/distress, as part of our service we can also help you to; connect to your community, get housing or finance advice, get support for employment.
