Right to challenge

The Right to Challenge is a national process that has been introduced through the Government's Localism Act. It came into force on 27 June 2012.

The Right to Challenge is a process that allows voluntary and community groups or council employees to bid to run council services.

We have agreed its Community Right to Challenge Policy. This sets out when expressions of interest will be accepted and gives an indication of the timescales that will be followed when making a decision on whether the expression of interest will be accepted and a full procurement process started.

Please take time to read the Policy before submitting any expressions of interest for our services.
