Grants of up to £5,000 are now available to organisations that offer training and support to businesses around the themes of disability, mental health and wellbeing.
Our Enhancing Employment Fund is available for projects that support Sevenoaks District based businesses in one or both of the following themes.
- Disability awareness, including inclusive recruitment and or / disability confident accreditation
- Mental wellbeing - supporting staff and customers with mental wellbeing, including awareness of neurodiversity
To stand the best chance of being awarded a grant, your projects should:
- Demonstrate how you will address one or both of the themes
- Have clear, measurable outcomes
- Have a clear plan setting out how you will reach at least 20 businesses in the Sevenoaks District
- Demonstrate awareness of the needs and challenges of small businesses
- Explain how the benefits of your project will be sustained into the future
- A clear evaluation and monitoring plan.

The deadline to apply is midnight on Sunday 14 September 2025. We reserve the right to close applications early if oversubscribed.
Before you apply:
- Make sure you are authorised to complete the application on behalf of your organisation
- Have your organisation’s registration number (e.g. company or charity registration) to hand
- Also have your bank details to hand. These will be used as part of our mandatory anti-fraud checks.
