Rural businesses and communities can apply to the West Kent Rural Grants scheme (funded by the Government’s Rural England Prosperity fund) for funding to support jobs, communities and economic growth.
Grants of £2,000 to £24,999 are available for the 2024/25 financial year.
The funding is for capital projects and match funding is required. Other terms and conditions apply.

The West Kent Rural Grant scheme will close when all funds have been allocated.
Please note: being in an eligible area as defined by Defra or meeting the scheme’s criteria does not automatically entitle you to a grant award. The scheme is competitive and awards are made at the Panel’s discretion. The Panel’s decision is final.

Applications for Tonbridge and Malling and Tunbridge Wells Borough Council remain open.
Before you apply, you should:
- Check if you are eligible. Your organisation must be within a rural area of Tonbridge and Malling Borough or Tunbridge Wells Borough as defined by Defra. You can check this using the interactive Magic Map or our REPF map showing the rural areas.
