Sevenoaks Greensand Commons Project

The Sevenoaks Greensand Commons Project is back up and running and we are excited to announce a new programme of volunteer task days.

We have lots of great conservation opportunities for you to get involved in, which will help restore important heathland and wood pasture.

Godden Green – Brushcutting, scrub pushback and holly thinning - meet outside Bucks Head pub TN15 0JJ.

 

Thursday 18 November 10am to 3pm

Farley Common – Holly thinning and footpath improvement - meet at Farley Lane.

 

Friday 26 November 10am to 3pm

Seal Chart – Rhododendron removal and holly thinning - meet outside St Lawrence’s Church, Church road, Stone street, TN15 0LL.

 

Wednesday 1 December 10am to 3pm

Crockham Hill Common – Birch thinning and conifer removal - Please contact Joanne for parking details.

Christmas social at Bitchet Common – Birch thinning followed by Christmas campfire lunch! - Meet at One Tree Hill car park Carter's Hill, Sevenoaks, TN15 0SN.

 

Wednesday 22 December 10am to 3pm

Fawke Common – Continuing holly thinning progress and improving access and sight lines - Meet at St Julian Road, near junction with Fawke Wood Road.
