We are currently seeking views on the extension of an existing Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) at Hewitts Roundabout in Halstead.
The PSPO was introduced in March 2024 to address car meets and anti-social behaviour. We are proposing to extend the current PSPO for a further three years, until March 2030.
PSPOs give the Police and the Council additional powers to tackle specific types of anti-social behaviour, including issuing warnings and fixed penalty notices.
