‘Run, walk or push against dementia’ is returning to Knole Park, Sevenoaks in 2026!
The event takes place on 14 June 2026 and as always, there will be a 3k, 5k and 10k course to sign up to. The 3k course is suitable for running, walking and pushing prams and is available for people of all ages. The 5k is for running and walking and the 10k course is for runners only.
The event will raise money for the Sevenoaks Area Dementia Friendly Community, a registered charity that supports local people who are living with dementia, experiencing issues with their memory, isolation and loneliness. It also offers support to carers.
Sevenoaks District Council’s Cabinet Member for People and Places, Cllr Lesley Dyball, says: “We’re so excited that ‘Run, walk or push’ is back for 2026. It’s always a brilliant event in a beautiful setting for the whole family. This year we want to raise more money than ever for the Sevenoaks Area Dementia Friendly Community.”
Co-founder of the Sevenoaks Area Dementia Friendly Community, Elaine Murray, adds: “Money raised from previous 'Run, walk or push' events helped to fund Forget-me-not cafés and singing groups as well as funding other groups that support people with memory problems.”
