Residents can learn how to cook healthy food on a budget with a free, face-to-face cooking course, starting Tuesday 24 February 2026.
The five-week course is run by Sevenoaks District Council and will be held at Edenbridge Village Hall. It will teach participants to prepare cost-effective, nutritious and delicious meals whilst learning how to reduce food waste. Everyone who completes the course will receive a FREE recipe book and spice kit.
This course is open to all residents in the Sevenoaks District.
Sevenoaks District Council’s Cabinet Member for People and Places, Cllr Lesley Dyball, says:
“Cooking is such an important life skill, so we are happy to be able to offer another free course to residents.
“This course will help you prepare homemade meals on a budget that are also healthy and nutritious.
“The classes have previously been very popular, so we anticipate spots going quickly.”
