Opportunity for the community come together

Sevenoaks District Council’s Chairman, Cllr Lynda Harrison, is urging residents to support her ‘Silent auction’ in support of two local charities.

All the community can get involved. Residents can pledge goods or services that will be auctioned online to support the Chairman’s chosen charities, ‘Head in the Game’ and ‘Friends for families.’ The Auction will run online from Saturday 1 to Monday 17 November 2025.

The deadline for donations is Monday 27 October 2025. To pledge a donation or lot, please email cllr.harrison@sevenoaks.gov.uk for a donation form.

“This is a great opportunity to support two local charities. Head in the Game provides mental health support through sport and Friends for Families is a small charity supporting local families facing financial hardship.

“You can support in two ways - you can donate and, then when the auction goes live, bid for the lots, all for a good cause.

“Donations could be anything from a pamper, a beauty treatment, a bottle of wine, a meal, a voucher, a service or an actual gift.

“We’ve already had some amazing donations, including a voucher for tree works, a round of golf for four people, tickets for Brands Hatch, a pet portrait, a Robert’s radio, a meal, gift vouchers, a bottle of champagne and more.

“Any donation would be incredible and greatly appreciated and would help support two amazing charities.”
