Independent retailers in the Sevenoaks District can apply for up to £2,000 of funding to help them improve and grow.
The Retail Enhancement Grant scheme can support a variety of projects, including enhancements to shopfronts, website improvements, safety features, staff training, accessibility improvements, hosting events and lots more.
Cabinet Member for People and Places, Cllr Lesley Dyball, says: “This is a great opportunity for independent shops and retailers in the District to make some improvements to their premises or online platform.
“As long as they can identify the long-term, sustainable benefits of the project and have clear outcomes for the funding, they can apply.
“The deadline to apply is 1 September 2025, so we’re urging everyone to get their applications in as soon as possible.”
