We are currently considering 11 Community Asset Transfer requests from town and parish councils.
The requests are considered in consultation with our Disposals Policy to ensure the transferred assets promote or improve the economic, social or environmental wellbeing of District residents.
Assets that are used by us for our operations, those that are income-producing or strategic are not considered for disposal.
The Cabinet Meeting on 21 April 2026 will consider the following transfers and recommendations:
Transfers recommended for approval:
- The Shambles, Sevenoaks – transfer to Sevenoaks Town Council
- Oliver Crescent, Farningham – transfer to Farningham Parish Council
- Alban Crescent, Farningham – transfer to Farningham Parish Council
- Saddlers Park, Eynsford – transfer to Eynsford Parish Council
- Vernon Close, West Kingsdown – transfer to West Kingsdown Parish Council
- Caxton Close, Hartley – transfer to Hartley Parish Council
- Hale Lane Recreation Ground, Otford – transfer to Otford Parish Council
Transfers not recommended for approval:
- Hollybush Park, Sevenoaks
- High Street Market Rights, Sevenoaks
- Land at Bradbourne Vale Road (Horses Field), Sevenoaks
Assets to be considered at a future date:
The request to transfer the Stag to Sevenoaks Town Council will be considered by Cabinet later this year.
