Seasons Farm planning appeal

A Public Inquiry will be held for an appeal against the refusal of planning permission at Seasons Farm, Pootings Road, Crockham Hill, Kent TN8 6SD.

The appeal was lodged by Messrs Harrington, Coffey, O'Brien and Quilligan against the refusal of planning permission for the change of use of land from equestrian/agricultural use to a mixed equestrian/agricultural and residential caravan site, creating four Gypsy/Traveller pitches. Each pitch would comprise an area of hardstanding, one mobile home, one touring caravan, one dayroom and two parking spaces.

The Inquiry will be held at the Sevenoaks District Council offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks, Kent TN13 1HG.

The Inquiry will begin at 10am on Tuesday 24 November 2026. Proceedings will begin at 9.30am on subsequent days. The Inquiry is scheduled to last six days (25 and 26 November, and 1, 2 and 3 December 2026).

The Inquiry will not sit later than 5pm each day.

The Public Inquiry will be run by a Government-appointed Planning Inspector. The Inspector may allow questions that are relevant to the case and do not repeat arguments already raised.

Resident associations and other interested groups are advised to nominate a representative to speak on behalf of their group to avoid repeated questions.

Long stay parking is available in the Sevenoaks Town Car Park, a five-to-ten-minute walk to our offices.
