Conservation areas - Shoreham Conservation Area

Shoreham is a historic village in west Kent four miles to the north of Sevenoaks and 19 miles southeast of central London.

The Shoreham Conservation Area encompasses the whole of the historic village. Twentieth century housing developments within and on the edges of the village are excluded from the conservation area.

Shoreham Conservation Area was formed in 2019 by merging the Shoreham High Street and Church Street Conservation Area and the Shoreham Mill Lane Conservation Area. Both were designated in 1972 and subsequently extended in 2016.

The Conservation Area Appraisal (CAA) is split into three documents: Introduction, Appraisal and Design Guidance.
