Get involved with community safety

There are a number of ways you can get involved with community safety activities, including:

  • Joining the North West Kent Crime Prevention Panel (NWKCPP), a voluntary organisation that helps raise the awareness of crime prevention and community safety. If you'd like to become a volunteer or would like them to attend one of your events, please contact us.
  • Volunteering for community speedwatch, an initiative that enables groups of residents to contribute to their community's safety and quality of life by helping to reduce excessive vehicle speeds.
  • Joining or operating a neighbourhood watch scheme to help to create strong, friendly, active communities where crime and anti-social behaviour are less likely to happen.
