Opinions wanted on new Housing Strategy

Published: Monday, 28th February 2022

Sevenoaks District Council is asking residents to give their views on a new Housing Strategy.

The strategy will set out the Council’s vision and ambitions for housing over the next five years. It covers a range of themes which include new homes, homelessness, supporting vulnerable people & energy efficiency.

Cabinet member for Housing, Cllr Kevin Maskell says: “We’re really eager to hear your thoughts on our new Housing Strategy. The survey will ask residents for their views on affordable and social housing, reducing homelessness, how to improve residents health and wellbeing and more.”

“Your comments will be reviewed and will form the basis of our new Housing Strategy which will be published this summer.

“As a small thank you for your time, residents who complete our survey can enter a free prize draw to win one of four £50 Marks and Spencer vouchers.”

Residents can express their views by visiting www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/housingstrategy and filling out a short survey.

The survey will remain open until 5pm on Monday 18 April 2022.
