Sevenoaks District Council are proud to be shortlisted for two categories in the Investors in People Awards 2019.
Earlier this year, Sevenoaks District Council was the first public sector employer to be achieve the prestigious Investors in People Platinum status for the second time. The Platinum status lasts until 2022 and means the Council is part of an elite group of organisations who have been singled out as the very highest quality employer.
The two awards Sevenoaks District Council has been shortlisted for are Investors in People Platinum Organisation of the Year and Leader of the Year for the Council’s Chief Executive Dr. Pav Ramewal.
Chief Executive, Dr. Pav Ramewal, says: “Being shortlisted for two categories in the Investors in People Awards 2019 is a fantastic achievement and something everyone at the Council is really proud of. Investing in the skills and knowledge of staff and making sure the Council attracts and retains the very best people ensures we can continue to deliver top quality services for our local communities.”
Council Leader, Cllr Peter Fleming, adds: “We are excited to have been shortlisted for these prestigious, global awards. It demonstrates our strong focus on our residents and customers and a determination to continue provide the high-quality, value for money services they deserve.”
