A Public Inquiry appeal for a solar farm at Chimmens Farm, Mussenden Lane, Horton Kirby, Kent, DA3 8NX will begin at 10am on Tuesday 17 June 2025. The inquiry is expected to last five days, ending on 24 June 2025.
The appeal was lodged by the landowner after we refused planning permission last year.
The inquiry will be held at the Sevenoaks District Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks, Kent TN13 1HG.

The Public Inquiry is being run by a Government appointed Planning Inspector. The Inspector may allow questions that are relevant to the case and that do not repeat arguments already raised. Resident associations and other interested groups are advised to nominate a representative to speak for their group to avoid repeat questions.
