Information about pests

Wasps

Old wasp nests are never reused but a new nest may be made close by. Wasps are not usually very prolific until mid June. Until that time the wasps that you see flying around will probably be queens looking to make a new nest.

If you would like to arrange for a pest control officer to deal with a wasp nest, please call us on 01732 227000.

Bees

Swarms of Honey Bees are often seen between May and June. Guidance on what to do can be obtained from the Kent Beekeepers' Association www.kentbee.com. Please note we will not kill swarms of bees.
