Sevenoaks District Council is making most of its town centre car parks FREE on Saturday 17 December 2022 in support of local businesses.
In Sevenoaks, visitors can park for free in the following car parks:
- Sevenoaks Town
- Stag Theatre (South Park)
- Buckhurst 1
- Suffolk Way
Parking will also be free in the Council’s car parks in Westerham on 17 December.
There will be no need for drivers to show a pay and display ticket or log their stay with MiPermit for these festive offers.
The Council will continue to patrol its car parks as normal to ensure they operate as smoothly as possible.
Parking charges will continue to apply in Blighs car park in Sevenoaks.
Sevenoaks District Council’s Cabinet Member for Cleaner and Greener, Cllr Margot McArthur, says: “We’re really pleased to be offering free parking in the all-important lead up to Christmas. We know the last few months and years have been tough on our businesses so we want to support them at their busiest time of the year.
“We hope this free parking offer will encourage even more residents to shop locally for Christmas and sample the incredible shops, restaurants and pubs we have to offer.”
Parking is already free at weekends in Sevenoaks District Council’s car parks in Swanley and at its offices in Sevenoaks.
