Kent County Council, through the Low Carbon Kent Network, are working together with Sevenoaks District Council to provide a free ‘Business Waste – your duty of care’ course.
The aim of the course is to ensure that all small businesses involved in the production, transportation and disposal of waste are provided with information in order to comply with their “Duty of Care” under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
The course is free to attend and will be held 9am to 1pm on Friday 27th September 2019 at Sevenoaks District Council Depot, Dunbrik Depot, 2 Main Road, Sundridge, Sevenoaks, Kent TN14 6EP.
The course will run for approximately 3 hours and a certificate will be provided on completion of the course. The session will include information relating to funding that is available to assist compliance with Duty of Care, as well as opportunities for business growth.
