If you do not have a postal or a proxy vote you will need to attend your designated polling station to vote in the elections being held on Thursday 6 May 2021.
If you would prefer to vote by post at these elections you must apply by 5pm on Tuesday 20 April 2021.
Polling stations are open between 7am and 10pm for you to cast your vote.
You do not need your poll card to vote.
Covid-secure polling stations
To ensure the safety of voters and polling staff a number of measures are in place for these elections that voters will be asked to follow in our polling stations.
On arriving at a polling station a maximum capacity will be in place to ensure everyone’s safety. This may mean waiting outside before you are able to vote. Please do maintain a safe distance from others whilst queueing.
Anyone working in or visiting a polling station must wear a face covering whilst inside the building, unless they are medically exempt. A supply of face masks will be available for those that do not bring their own.
Please sanitise your hands on entering and leaving the polling station. Sanitiser will be provided.
Social distancing should be observed whilst inside the polling station.
Please bring your own pen or pencil to mark your ballot paper. A supply of pencils will be available for those that do not bring their own.
