The following elections are scheduled to take place on Thursday 6 May 2021. The hours of poll will be from 7am to 10pm.
- Police and Crime Commissioner election
- Kent Count Council election
- District Council by-election for Brasted, Chevening & Sundridge ward
The deadline to register to vote in these elections is midnight on Monday 19 April 2021.
If you are unable to visit your polling station or you are concerned about attending a polling station because of the ongoing impact of Covid-19, you can choose to vote by post or to appoint someone to vote on your behalf (a proxy vote).
To vote by post at these elections or to cancel or change an existing postal or proxy vote you must apply by 5pm on Tuesday 20 April 2021.
The deadline to apply for a proxy vote for these elections is 5pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021.
Police & Crime Commissioner election
The Police Area Returning Officer (PARO) is the person with the overall responsibility for the conduct of these elections. The PARO for these elections is Sarah Martin at Dartford Borough Council.
