Free Christmas parking

Make the most of our excellent town centres with free parking in the run up to Christmas.

Parking will be free in our car parks and on-street in the centre of Westerham from 5pm on Thursday 29 November when the Christmas lights are switched on. Some parking bays by the Market Square and The Green will blocked-off as they will be used during event.

Free parking will be available in Sevenoaks town centre from 5pm on Friday 30 November when the Christmas lights are switched on there too. Parking bays in High Street will suspended from midday and part of the Buckhurst 1 car park will be closed as they’re being used in connection with the event.

We’re also offering extra Christmas cheer by relaxing all charges in our car parks and on-street in Sevenoaks and Westerham on Saturdays 8 and 15 December.

Sencio Community Leisure is joining in too by waiving parking charges in the Sevenoaks Leisure Centre car park.

Parking will also be free in Blighs car park in Sevenoaks on Sundays 9 and 16 December to help spread the Christmas cheer.

Parking is already free at weekends in our other Council car parks, including in Swanley.

We will continue to patrol our car parks and drivers will not need a ticket, but all other parking conditions will apply, including the maximum stay. A temporary reduction in the maximum stay period, from four hours to three, will apply in Blighs to help maintain turnover in our most popular car park.
