Sevenoaks is a great place to live and work but a lack of long stay parking in our town centre is impacting on residents and businesses.
To meet this urgent need for additional long stay parking, we're proposing the construction of a new car park on Buckhurst Lane, which will help:
- Provide spaces for the significant number of people currently on waiting lists for parking permits
- Ease congestion, reducing the number of motorists driving around in search of spaces
- Free up parking in short stay car parks and in residential streets
- Support the continued economic success of the town
A planning application for the car park and 10 town houses was submitted in July 2017. The planning application reference is 17/02149/FUL.
