Volunteer to help people in your community

If you want to help others in your community during the Coronavirus outbreak, you can register as a volunteer.

Volunteers can help people in self-isolation with their shopping and other small tasks.

Once you have registered, we will pass your details to 'Care for our Community - Sevenoaks', or another local community group, who will match you to someone who has asked for help.

Please Note:  If you are registering to be a volunteer then all your details will be passed onto your local Volunteer Team Leader who will contact you regarding the volunteering required.

If you are registering for help, then all your details will be passed to your local Volunteer Team Leader and then a local volunteer in your community who will contact you regarding your requirements.

Complete the registration form

Alternatively, you can register by calling us on 01732 227000.

Once you have registered, you will be issued with an identification badge, please carry this with you whenever you are volunteering.

Volunteering your time to vulnerable residents counts as ‘key work’ but you should still stay 2m away where possible. This was confirmed by Health Secretary Matt Handcock on Tuesday 24 March.  If you are questioned about your movements, you can show your badge as proof of your work.

Although the scheme is not being managed by us, we will record and share your data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and our Privacy Notice and General Data Protection policy.
