Various Parishes throughout the District

Sevenoaks District Council have been asked to introduce parking restrictions in a number of Parishes throughout the District.

We have already carried out informal consultation with residents and the plans have been adjusted to reflect the comments received. The details of the adjusted proposals are also available for download in PDF format.

Formal Consultation
The District Council is now carrying out formal consultation in line with the statutory requirements. Notices of the proposed restrictions will be placed on-street and advertisements placed in the local newspapers.

The formal consultation process will start on 9th October 2008 and close on 3rd November 2008. 

Statutory consultees include the emergency services, the Road Haulage Association, the Freight Transport Association, local bus companies, local Councillors, the parish or town council, Sustrans, the Cycle Touring Club. Additionally, local interest groups that have previously expressed an interest may also be consulted.

Paper copies of the Traffic Order, the Statement of Reasons and the plans will be available for viewing at the District Council offices in Argyle Road between the hours of 8.45am and 5pm (Monday to Thursday), 8.45am and 4.45pm (Friday).

All comments in support or objecting to the proposals must be made in writing to;
