21 November 2008Following the Sevenoaks Parking Review, it has become apparent that commuter parking has moved further in to the Bradbourne Lakes area.
The District Council had already prepared restrictions to cover this eventuality and the Portfolio Holder for the Built Environment, Cllr Williamson has discussed the issues with the local councillors for the area, Cllrs Brigden and Gilbert and decided to introduce the extended restrictions.
The new restrictions are designed to deal with the commuter parking. They will allow free parking for residents by requiring parking on alternate sides of the roads in the morning and afternoons.
It is hoped that the restrictions can be introduced by mid September 2008.
