Swanley parking restrictions

Following the introduction of the Swanley Parking Review in May 2008, there have been requests for minor amendments to the parking restrictions, as well as requests for dealing with some aspects of displaced parking and for some new controls around junctions.

The initial proposals are listed below and have been circulated to the immediate frontagers for comment. The plans are available to download in PDF format.

Bramley Close Swanley - Bramley Close 
Removal and shortening of parking bays to ease access for residents.

Court Crescent Swanley - Court Crescent
Reduction in length of parking bays to ease access for residents.

Cyclamen Road / Phillip Avenue junction Swanley - Cyclamen Rd 
Change of restrictions to prevent parking at the junction and to remove the requirement for signing.

Cyclamen Road Swanley - Cyclamen Rd (centre)
Change of restrictions to prevent parking on the bend and to prevent obstruction in front of the garages.

Goldsel Road / High Firs junction Swanley - Goldsel Road
Reduction in length of parking bays to alleviate residents concerns over visibility from the High Firs junction

Mark Way  Swanley - Mark Way
To prevent pavement parking and to allow large vehicle access to the commercial premises.

Salisbury Avenue / London Road junction Swanley - Salisbury Avenue
To prevent parking around the junction.

St George's Road Swanley - St Georges Rd
Change of restrictions to allow more parking flexibility for residents.

St George's Road (eastern section)Swanley - St Georges Rd (east)
New restrictions to prevent displacement parking on the bend and at the junction.

St Mary's Road / Apple Orchard Swanley - St Marys Rd
New restrictions to prevent parking at the roundabout and on the bend.
