Council tax
We collect the Council Tax to help pay for a proportion of local services provided by:
- Ourselves, Sevenoaks District Council
- Kent County Council
- Kent Police & Crime Commissioner
- Kent & Medway Fire & Rescue Service
- Your local town or parish council
Your Council Tax bill will show the amount of money you are required to contribute towards local services and which authority the money goes to. See how your Council Tax is spent by the authorities.
Virtually every household has a duty to pay Council Tax. The amount you pay depends on where you live in the District, what band your property is in, and your personal circumstances.
