Reporting graffiti

The Sevenoaks District Community Safety Partnership aims to clean graffiti in the District as quickly as possible, working with local residents, businesses and communities.  Cleaning graffiti is part of the work to reduce criminal damage, which includes identifying and taking action against people responsible for graffiti and improving areas to reduce opportunities for crime.  Click here for more information about the work of the Partnership.

Graffiti can be reported to the Council by:

When graffiti is reported to the Council,  we aim to contact the property owner to identify the most suitable way to remove the graffiti as soon as possible.  In some cases - particularly where the graffiti is in an alleyway - there may be a delay whilst a land search is carried out to identify all of the owners affected.

The Partnership has funded some graffiti kits which are ideal for cleaning smaller pieces of graffiti from surfaces such as road signs and seats.  If you would like to borrow a graffiti cleaning kit please email community.safety@sevenoaks.gov.uk providing your name and address.
