Jump in at Edenbridge

Time is running out for young people who want to ‘jump-in’ and enjoy a party with a difference in Edenbridge in just over a week.

The third ever ‘Jump-In’ pool party will take place at Edenbridge Leisure Centre on Saturday 13 February from 6pm to 8pm, this follows the success of the previous pool party that took place December last year.

Exclusively for eight to 14 year olds, the pool party features DJ Ignition playing all the latest tunes, and plenty of cool and fun stuff to play with in the pool.

Tickets cost just £5 and are available from Edenbridge Leisure Centre. However places are limited, and following the success of the last event, it is advised to buy tickets in advance.

Young people will have the pool all to themselves and the café at the leisure centre will also be open with special offers for parents and guardians who want to stay.

Cllr Pat Bosley, Sevenoaks District Council's Cabinet member with responsibility for healthy living, says: "Time is running out to book tickets for this ever popular event. So if you want to have a great Saturday night get your ticket now to make sure you don’t miss out!”

This initiative has been organised by Sevenoaks District Council in partnership with Sencio Community Leisure and is funded by NHS West Kent as part of the National Choosing Health agenda, which aims to make healthy choices easier.

To book tickets in advance, contact Edenbridge Leisure Centre by calling 01732 865665, or for more information on the event call Sevenoaks District Council on 01732 227000.
