08 February 2012Young people in Swanley once again have an exciting opportunity to meet friends and have fun during the back-to-school period, when the popular ‘Jump-In’ pool party returns to White Oak Leisure Centre.
Taking place on Saturday 11 September from 6pm to 8pm, the pool party will be exclusively for eight to 14 year olds.
DJ Ignition will once again play all the most popular tunes and there will be lots of enjoyable activities and games. Best of all, young people attending will have the pool all to themselves for the night and they will get to interact and have fun together.
However, adults will be getting a treat too, as there will be special offers in the Leisure Centre café for any parent or guardian who brings a child along to participate in the fun.
Cllr Pat Bosley, Sevenoaks District Council Cabinet member with responsibility for healthy living, says: "Young residents can really benefit and enjoy these pool parties, which have proved popular in the past. They are a fantastic way to improve fitness and make friends in a fun-filled environment."
Tickets for this lively event will be £5 per person. Residents should book in advance, as it isn’t possible to buy tickets on the door.
