Make a splash at a party with a difference in Sevenoaks!

News release issued on 18 May 2009

Time is running out for young people who want to ‘Jump-In’ and enjoy a party with a difference in Sevenoaks at the end of the month.

The second Sevenoaks ‘Jump-In’ pool party, exclusively for eight to 14 year olds, comes to Sevenoaks Leisure Centre on Saturday 30 May, from 6pm to 8pm.

A DJ playing all the latest tunes, cool lights and even more new fun stuff in the pool to play with, will all be on offer at the party, and tickets cost just £5.

Tickets can be purchased in advance from Sevenoaks Leisure Centre, or on the night. However the last Sevenoaks pool party sold out, and places are limited, so it is advised to buy tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Young people will have the pool completely to themselves and the café at the Leisure Centre will also be open. Parents and guardians who want to stay are welcome.

Cllr Pat Bosley, Sevenoaks District Council Cabinet member with responsibility for healthy living, says: “We’ve held three pool parties across the District now, each one has been a sell out, and we have received some great feedback from the young people who have attended them. I’m sure this one will be just as popular, so make sure you get your ticket now!”

This initiative has been organised by Sevenoaks District Council in partnership with Sencio Community Leisure and is funded by NHS West Kent as part of the National Choosing Health agenda, which aims to make healthy choices easier.

To book tickets in advance contact Sevenoaks Leisure Centre by calling 01732 470700, or for more information on the event call Sevenoaks District Council on 01732 227000.
