Sevenoaks residents have just over a week to get in line for new dance classes that are starting in the town.
A new Strictly Line Dancing class starts at Kino, Sevenoaks on Monday 12 May and will run every Monday thereafter from 1pm to 3pm at a cost of £3 per class.
The classes are for adults of any age or ability.
Cllr Felicity Broomby, Sevenoaks District Council's Cabinet member with responsibility for healthy living, says: “This class is a great chance to stay fit and active and make some new friends along the way. Come along and give it a go!”
Strictly Line Dancing is a healthy lifestyle initiative co-ordinated by Sevenoaks District Council in partnership with Kino, Sevenoaks (as part of their ETC Programme) and jointly funded by West Kent Primary Care Trust as part of the Choosing Health agenda which aims to make healthy choices easier.
The class is run by professional dance teachers from 'Scuffs and Struts', and everyone is made to feel very welcome. There is no need to book your place on the class, you just turn up!
