Sports development

Sevenoaks District Council supports local sports development, working closely with Sencio Community Leisure.

Sencio's Sports Development Team is developing sporting opportunities across the District in partnership with schools, clubs and other sporting associations such as the Sevenoaks Sports Council and Kent Sports Development Unit to increase participation.

Sports England - Small Grants Programme

The Sport England Small Grants Programme has been set up to support local community sport projects which seek to sustain or increase participation or develop opportunities for people to excel at their chosen sport. Applicants can bid for grants from £ 300 to £ 10,000, but the overall project costs must not exceed £ 50,000. The fund is open to any bona fide not-for-profit club or association, statutory body or educational establishment. For more details about the Sport England Small Grants Programme, please click on the link. 

Funding for Sports - Other Funding 

Sevenoaks District Sports Council

Sevenoaks District Sports Council, through funding received from Sevenoaks District Council, encourages improvements to sports standards across the Sevenoaks District. Financial and technical assistance, including training advice, is made available to individuals and clubs.
