25 July 2008Sevenoaks District Council supports local sports development, working closely with Sencio Community Leisure.
Sencio's Sports Development Team is developing sporting opportunities across the District in partnership with schools, clubs and other sporting associations such as the Sevenoaks Sports Council and Kent Sports Development Unit to increase participation.

Funding for Sports - Sport England
Sport England invests in projects which help people start, stay and succeed in sport. They have two funding streams, community (grants £ 500 to £ 5,000) and national (grants over £ 5,000).
If you are looking for a grant of between £ 300 and £ 10,000, applications can be made to the Awards for All grants programme. Awards for All is a Lottery grants scheme for local communities and supports arts and sports projects. Applications are invited at any time and an answer is given within 8 weeks. The application form is simple to complete.
If you are looking for a grant of over £ 5,000, decisions about Sport England funding are made locally by the South East Board. Click on the following link to find South East Board priorities and application details.
