21 August 2008Sevenoaks District Council has Investor in People status.
'Investors in People' is the nationally recognised standard which is awarded to organisations that are committed to supporting the development of their staff to achieve their goals. This involves a high level of training and development for their staff.
The Council is assessed every three years and has held 'Investor in People' status since 1993.
The most recent assessment took place in October 2006 when the Council retained the prestigious accolade despite the test being made considerably tougher since the last assessment in 2003.
