"Making it happen - together", The Sevenoaks District Sustainable Community Action Plan sets out a ten year vision that reflects what people in the District said was important to them and is supported by a three-year action plan for 2010-13.
The themes in the Community Plan were identified following extensive consultation with the community and partner agencies as follows:

Sustainability checklist
The 'Sustainability Checklist' has been developed as an easy to use tool for Council staff to assess the sustainability of policies, strategies, plans and projects. It's designed to raise awareness of sustainable development issues and to assist officers and Members in their decision making process from the outset.
