Kerbside collection of recyclable white goods

As part of the Council's fortnightly ‘Bulky Collection’ service, we'll collect white goods from your kerbside for a small fee.

Most white goods can be collected for around £11.50 per appliance, whereas for large double door or American-style fridge-freezers the charge will be in the region of £29.00 per appliance.  Please note that this service is only available to households.

Cookers, hobs and ovens, dishwashers, freezers, fridges, fridge-freezers, tumble dryers, and washing machines are taken by the Council to Kent County Council for materials recovery and proper disposal.  In 2007/2008, more than 72 tonnes of such material were collected.

The Bulky Collection service can also take non-recyclable items.   Prices vary depending on what you have removed so for more information or to book a collection please  call 01732 227000.
