Sevenoaks District Council's recycling sites

To supplement the Council's kerbside recycling programmes, more than 40 bring-to recycling sites are located across the Sevenoaks District.

These sites are open to the public all year round but should not be used before 8am or after 8pm, as many are close to homes.

Residents can recycle glass bottles and jars and newspapers and magazines at these sites, as well as cardboard that is too large to recycle at kerbside.  Clothing, shoes, books, CDs, DVDs and videos that are still of use can also be placed in banks found at many of our sites.  However, CDs DVDs and videos that are of no value can be sent for recycling by posting them to: The Laundry CD Recycling, London Recycling, 4d North Crescent, Cody Road, London, E16 4TG.

You can determine which Sevenoaks District Council recycling site is closest to your home in one of two ways:

Please note that due to the success of the SDC clear sack kerbside collection scheme, can banks are no longer found at our recycling sites.  Kindly put cans of all kinds into your clear recycling sack, at home.

Please do not litter at these sites!  Litter bins are provided for your plastic bags, and for cardboard boxes if the site you visit lacks a cardboard bank. No cardboard bank at the site you visit? Please bring your box home for kerbside recycling.

All material should be placed in banks, since material left on the ground will be disposed of by the Council's litter crews and will not be recycled.
