Kent Waste Partnership

Kent County Council is responsible for the disposal of Kent's waste and much of what is recycled.

Kent's 12 District and Borough Councils are responsible for household waste and recycling collections. Medway Council, a unitary authority, takes responsibility for both the collection and disposal of household waste and recycling in Medway.

Together the 12 Local Councils and Kent County Council, along with Medway Council, have formed the Kent Waste Partnership to develop Kent's ongoing waste and recycling strategies.

For more information about the Kent Waste Partnership and its activities, together with supporting statistical data and details of the Kent Waste Strategy, visit the Partnership's webpage.
