08 October 2008Residents who are unable to carry their refuse and clear recycling sacks to the boundary of their property for collection may be eligible for help from the Council.
Residents who are frail, elderly or those with disabilities and there is no one else in the house who can help may be exempt from taking their refuse to the boundary of their property. In such cases the Council's refuse collectors can collect the refuse from within their property.
