The Council is introducing charges for pre-application meetings and letters from 1 July 2008. These charges will apply to enquiries or meeting for planning officer advice following the refusal of planning permission and prior to the submission of a new application.
These charges seek to cover some of the Council’s costs in relation to providing a pre-application service. The exceptions to the introduction of charges are householder enquiries, enquiries on works to a listed building and enquiries from social registered landlords which will continue to be free.
