22 May 2012The Planning Policy team is responsible for the preparation and review of a wide range of strategic documents, including the Local Development Framework (LDF), which are used in the long-term planning of the District and in the determination of planning applications.
The LDF comprises a portfolio of Local Development Documents (LDDs) that will eventually replace the saved policies of the Sevenoaks District Local Plan. The LDF will consist of Development Plan Documents (DPDs) and additional Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) that form additional guidance.
The intention of the LDF is to provide clearer, flexible and more wide-ranging visions and strategies for spatial development that will be easier to keep up-to-date. For further information please visit the relevant pages below.
